God in Heaven.'' This was followed up yesterday by Don Fowler, "That just demonstrates that God is on our side." Fowler's the former head of the
DNC, 95-96. He has since apologized, but wasn't it the
Dems that blamed Bush for driving Katrina into New Orleans, three years ago? Isn't that the
same Bush who is such an idiot that he can't get out of his own way?
Aren't these the very same people who can't stand to see Republican women getting ahead? The ones who racially slurred
Condie Rice and now are calling Sarah
Palin trailer trash?

Now they think that because her daughter is pregnant that the ultra-conservative members will be upset with Palin. HA! Those so-called narrow-minded Christian conservative types (I'm one) believe in redemption and forgiveness (not to mention learning from those mistakes and moving on with your life once you've asked God for forgiveness). I know that's a concept most liberals don't understand, but that is what is at the core of Christianity.
It's always the same old garbage, recycled. Maybe that's what the "green revolution" is all about. I'd just as soon never have to listen to that crowd again, but then what would I write about?
Suppose I should say something about the problems outside of the Rep convention. Sure don't see problems inside, especially concern Gov. Palin or her family life. Obama was right to call for a hands off when it comes to the kids.
I'd say aside from her being a governor, she has a pretty normal family. It mirrors many that I see.
I don't recall anyone (Democrat or otherwise) claiming that Bush “drove” Katrina into New Orleans. Many did take notice of the fact that his utterly unskilled political appointee running FEMA was utterly inept in responding to the disaster that occurred.
I find it to be an interesting element of the Palin family values that they have such an intense belief in the concept of marriage being for a man and woman for the purpose of procreation that Sarah and Bristol were both pregnant before marriage. I guess their view is that they aren't entitled to a marriage license until they can prove fertility with an actual pregnancy. That seems a bit extreme.
I’m far more interested in her experience to be qualified as “one heartbeat away” from the presidency. And I don’t think having and IHOP in your home town really counts.
On the upside, she is more qualified to be VP than Spiro Agnew was. He was in office for years before being under investigation for ethics violations and abuse of power. She already is so that is a point in her favor of being qualified to be a Republican VP.

I must say that I'm always intrigued when a conservative writes something that starts off quoting Michael Moore. He is about as mainstream as karl rove, rush limbaugh or bill o'reilly so it just gets me charged up to have a rapport.
Now a question for you - since you require some sort of sign in to comment, why do you then also require the hapless commenter to figure out that jumbled word verification? The spam-commenters aren't going to be signing in so isn't this excessive?

It's far too easy to set-up automated spam. The jumbled words are just another layer. My idea of a perfect world is one with no locks. Unfortunately, we'll never get there.
